Today the tire size that we're going to be working on is a 265/60/18. You can always take a look at the side of your tire if you don't know what you have, so you know to get the right chains. These chains right here are going to be some of the most aggressive chains you can get, thanks to the V-bar or ice spikes on the top. So if you are in a really deep snow situation or thick ice, this is what I would recommend. more

Now keep in mind that the tire size we're working with on our Ranger is 265-60 R18 00:00:12. You just want to double check to make sure that your tire size matches and that it'll fit these chains. If you can't find your tire size, it is on the sidewall somewhere around the perimeter, so just make sure you double check that.Now it's always a good idea to keep a set of chains in your Ranger for times where you might find yourself needing some extra traction in some inclement weather. more

Now on our Ranger today, the tire size we have is 265/60R18. So go ahead and double check your tire size and make sure that the chains will fit it.If you don't know what your tire size is, you don't know how to check, it's on your sidewall. So, on our truck right here, it's actually up on top. It's going to have those three numbers and then two numbers, and then the R, and then two more numbers. more

Now the tire size on our Ranger right here is going to be 265/60R18. Now with these chains it's pretty important to make sure that you double-check your tire size and make sure that it fits. There is some pre-assembly that goes on with these chains the first time you install them, so you definitely want to double-check the tire size. more

Rate your transcript OrderClientKevin BrossRef #20643Order #TC0844103060 Today on our 2011 Ford Ranger with tire size 255/70-R17 we'll be installing the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains for light trucks, Part Number PW2016C. These cable chains are easy to install and comply with all DUT specifications.We can now drape our cable chains over the tire making sure that our connection point is at the very bottom. We'll move to the inside of the tire where we'll take up as much slack using the adjuster to attach to itself. Then we'll move to the outside of the tire here at the luger and then repeat the same process. We can go ahead and rotate the luger down and then attach it and tighten it all. Any excess cable you have can be secured by using the orange tab. The manufacturer recommends the use of Rubber Tensioner Part Number PW99 to further secure a tire chain. more

We'll be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 225/70R15. We will drape our chain over the tire here and then roll forward slightly, driving onto the chain. We can then bring each side of our tire chains up, connecting the links, first in the rear, and then in the front of the tire. For additional stability, we will be adding the Glacier Rubber Adjuster. Part Number PW99 to our tire chain. That completes our test fit of the Glacier Snow Tire Chains. Part number PW1038 on our 2011 Ford Ranger. more
